The main focus of our TCM Theory & Diagnostics course is to build a strong foundation with the classical theories and diagnostic skills of Chinese Medicine, on which the various modalities of Chinese medicine, such as Acupuncture, Tui Na Massage, or Chinese Herbal Medicine, can be built on if you so choose. This course can be used as a stepping stone onto our more advanced Chinese medicine courses, or for courses at other training institutions. It can also be used for Tui Na practitioners that wish to take their therapy further in order to treat internal medical disorders.
The course includes an introduction to the history of Chinese Medicine, an in depth look into the foundation theories presented in the classical and modern texts, Chinese Medicine diagnostic skills and syndrome differentiation. A more detailed syllabus can be found below.
Note: This certificate is already included as part of the Acupuncture Diploma – It can be done separately if you do not wish to learn Acupuncture or if you are already trained in Western Acupuncture.
